Our Little Girl is now in Kindergarten

Its hard to believe that Kaitlyn has started school. I mean she has been in preschool but this is "real" school. It was tough on her. Kaitlyn is very smart (toot toot:)) but she is also very shy. Once she is comfortable and feels safe she will open up and sing and dance for you....but it takes a while. We love her school and think it is a perfect match for Kaitlyn. She is learning more than we ever imagined she would. Her school is not the traditional setting where she goes in and stays with the teacher all day. She has a spanish teacher, art teacher, yoga teacher, science teacher, PE teacher, and Math and Phonics are taught by her "home teacher". Its pretty amazing!! OK well enough bragging here are some pics of her in the oh so cute uniforms...

Baseball, Baseball, Fun in the Sun!!

I found a place that has TBall for 3-4 year old. I had looked around and it seemed most cities had them starting at 5. I knew I had to sign him up as soon as I found it. Today was his first day. It was the cutest thing ever. It was obvious most of the kids had an idea of what the game was but didn't really get it. I had always heard stories about kids running to home base which i laughed off as moms exaggerating stories but I truly saw today for myself a kid when they said run to home he took off running and it wasn't to home plate...lol he ran and ran until he was so far he couldn't hear us all yelling and his dad had to run after him. Blake did very well all the kids were 4 but Blake and he kept up with them. Dad needs to work on his throw but other than that he was awesome!!


Ok so I forgot his glove and he wanted one so a dad gave him his glove..a little big but it worked.
Kaitlyn wanted to feel included so I told her she could be the cheerleader...golden!!

The coach was great with them. He explained everything and was very patient.

Lemonade!!

So we had a worker here doing some stuff around the house. Rick is such a great dad he thought to keep the kids busy and out of the way he would make a lemonade stand. Kaitlyn and Blake colored the stand and made the lemonade (crystal light is all i had). They stood outside giving the lemonade away (yes FREE) so come on by!!

Career Day at Summer School

Kaitlyn's summer school filmed a commercial for future students to see. Each kid had to say what they wanted to be when they grow up. Then the day of the filming dress up as their career choice to say their lines. Kaitlyn was very excited that she was chosen to have 2 lines unlike some of the other kids. Kaitlyn's career choice was performer!!


There were policemen, artists, chefs, doctors, ballerinas and our Kaitlyn the performer :)

Blake's mommy and me school

Believe it or not we are early just about every day for this class...lol Blake really enjoys going to school (so far) I am there with him and get to play with him and help him in any way that he needs me. I do try to let him explore and listen to the teacher and just jump in when I feel he needs guidance. Im hoping this will help with the transition into "big boy school" with out mommy there.

Blake's new ride

GiGi and PoPo got Blake a new monster truck for his birthday. He loves the truck and wants to go off roading on all my neighbors lawns. We take it out for a joy ride every day.

Ok now I know it has been a while since I posted. Time seems to be something I dont have much of these days. SO here are the pics from Blake's Birthday party. We just had a small party at the local bowling alley (WT I know :) ) Blake was so excited about the dinosaur cake Pam was going to make him that nothing else mattered. It was fun!!



When he woke up we had presents wrapped for him at his chair. Im not sure if him or Kaitlyn opened them??
